Parlour Boys

Parlour Boys are Kentucky natives and haven't even been around a full year, but they have a new EP out and they continue the dance/punk/new wave feel of bands like their Kentucky counterparts, VHS or Beta. It might be tough for them hailing from the same state and having a sound so close to another fairly successful native band, but then again, it may only help them. They're young and I'm sure their sound will mature and evolve, but they're off to a great start.

Festivals:
Lollapalooza will return to Chicago. The lineup for the event won't be announced for weeks, but Chicago media reports have suggested a primary target for a headliner is Smashing Pumpkins, who are making rumblings about a reunion. Looks like the target dates are August 4-6.

I Guess I'm Floating fills you in on Bonnaroo 2006. I might have to look into Bonnaroo this year...outstanding and very diverse lineup!
