THE IMPOSSIBLE SHAPES & THE PINE CLUB @ YANP

The Impossible Shapes are kids from the northeastern suburbs of Indianapolis. They are the example of my generation's flight from the suburbs back into the city to "find what is real", I guess. They grew up in the 'burbs and were given everything upper middle class white boys are given (in Carmel & Fishers, Indiana that's usually a lot!), but now they have moved back into the city's urban enviroment to attempt to find that edge. Their songs are creative and light-hearted, enunciated by banjos, cellos and other odd instruments along with their basic band structure.
