Hailing from NYC, Aesop Rock is a guy with a sound I've liked from the first listen...the eclectic wordsmith has an original sound and style not often found in hip-hop these days. He's a throwback to the Golden Age of rap and hip-hop. He seems to stay attached to the underground scene that spawned him, not letting fame and recognition bring him too close to the media forefront. Buy Aesop Rock here.

Singer songwriter Neko Case is an indie country girl who just released a new live album titled "The Tigers Have Spoken". Case, like Aesop Rock, creates an original and endearing sound with her brassy voice. She has an interesting story.
