New Song : Volcano Choir : Island, IS

Justin Vernon, of Bon Iver fame, released the first track from his Volcano Choir side-project today. Volcano Choir features Vernon and his friends from Collections of Colonies of Bees. Island, IS, from a vocal standpoint, might sound like any other outstanding Bon Iver track, but the music behind is what changes the whole vibe. As P4K says, the looping background is very Four Tet-esque.

Volcano Choir's debut long-player, Unmap, will be released September 22nd through Jagjaguwar.
