Jonna Lee covers The Killers
I've kinda been done with The Killers for more than a hot minute, but this kinda brought me back in. Hot Fuss seemed hit at just the right time, and I did drive to Chicago to see them on that tour, and it ended up being a pretty great show. The letdown of Sam's Town sucked all the air out, and haven't been too impressed with the new material, but I did watched them on SNL this year. I lost interest pretty quickly as I was dumbfounded by one of the worst lyrics of 2008..."Are we human, or are we dancer?" - apparently from a comment made by Hunter S. Thompson about how America was raising a "generation of dancers." Anyway, if you can get past the distracting line, Swedish artist Jonna Lee has very nicely covered the song as the b-side of her forthcoming single from her second album, due for release Spring of 2009...

Amazing!
Wow. Human is actually a lovely song, especially if you blast it really loud.
I agree, this version is better. Way better. Brilliant voice!
