The Duke Spirit cover Prince
I don't really know how I feel about The Duke Spirit, but I do love me some Prince. Here they are playing in studio two in Abbey Road studios for a live radio broadcast, covering of Prince's Take Me With You. I wouldn't expect it to stay up long, as Prince's folks seem to make it their hobby to squash all YouTube covers they can.

I do know how I feel about The Duke Siprit, I like 'em! But I class them as a bit of a guilty pleasure (along wth Kasabian and Hard Fi).
Unfortunately Lilea's voice doesn't really suit this song and the band seem to have practised it, oh, maybe twice before recording the final version.
She's still as fit as a butcher's dog though.

Yeah, I tend to agree - cool band, terribly executed cover. Seems like they might have tried to strip it down to it's basics but that stripped it of it's life...
Wrong. Shit was tits. Sloppy rock and roll is kind of those cats' bag. Needs more fauz woodwind synth work.
