New Video : Bloc Party : Mercury
Recently, Bloc Party had been ominiously counting down to something on their website. Turns out it was a countdown to the release of the video for their latest single Mercury. They premiered it on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio show today around 2:30pm EST.

Not bad. It seems to combine their last two albums; the harder edge of the Silent Alarm with the electronic experiementation of A Weekend In the City. I am looking forward to their next album.

it sounds vaguely similar, different chords and arranged differently in the two songs.
actually though, I think you might have something in that every band with a horn section, steady rhythms, and or guitar/vocal parts is trying to rip off peter gabriel...
so they don't throw up the same shit with each album, big fucking deal. I'd rather hear a band take chances and move forward with each album than to sit on their asses and make "is this it" over and over again. it's shiteheads like you that are ruining the music industry.
the css remix of mercury is much better than the original imo.
