5 Talk back to yo' mama!:
Great Album. Can't wait to see it live. The standout tracks for me are The Old Days and The Rabbit, The Bat, and The Reindeer. Has a strong Wilco/Jeff Tweedy and Randy Newman in the album.
Greg didn't even mention The Ark or Hang On! That's how good this album is. Hang On sounds like The Band.
I think it's a great step forward for Dr. Dog and the tour will be killer.
This is more than just a step forward...This is their shining moment...Army Of Ancients is beautiful, as is 100 Years and My Friend. I think they've improved in the studio as well. The sound is much tighter, especially the drums. They went in to this to make something great, and they achieved so much more...Can't wait to see them at Radio Radio.
This is a great album that gets better with each listen. This is a step in the right direction.
good stuff. show at radio radio should be great. everything, now! also has new tunes up from their upcoming record at their myspace.
