Buffet Libre : Rewind

This project has seen a lot of online love, but you know how much we love covers here at MOKB, so we almost crapped our pants when we saw this! It deserves as much PR as it can get. Buffet Libre, a Spanish music site dedicated to the promotion of pop and electronic music, has created a MONSTEROUS mixtape full of 80s songs either remixed or covered by some great modern indie bands and DJs. Bands/DJs include Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Dragonette, Cannonball Jane, The Cloud Room, Frankmusik, !Trash Yourself, RAC, Xinobi, Moulinex and many, many more. Classic songs like Paul Simon's Boy In A Bubble, Prince's When Doves Cry and Erotic City, Dire Straits' So Far Away, A Ha's Take On Me and loads more are all covered in this project.
