The Acorn cover Cyndi Lauper
Just this past April, we hosted The Acorn for an MOKB/SIRIUS session and hosted a show at Radio Radio for them when they rolled through on their Spring Tour of the U.S. To say they were loads of awesome would be an understatement.
Some great news for the band, they've made the "Long List" for the Polaris Music Prize, a $20,000 award given to the best full-length Canadian album, judged solely on artistic merit, without regard to genre or record sales.
Also, Rolf & Co. recorded a version of Cyndi Lauper's Good Enough, from everyone's all-time fav, GOONIES!, for Coke Machine Glow.

I loved this song when I was younger, probably still do. The video for the original is great. It has all of the old school wwf wrestlers. You can watch it here:
