Win This! : Free Tickets To Monolith Festival
As you might have seen on some of the other Hot Freaks! blogs, we here at MOKB are also giving away two tickets to The Monolith Music Festival at Red Rocks in Colorado. You saw all the new bands that were added to the lineup yesterday (Hercules and Love Affair, Foals, Atmosphere). I think there are more to come as things lead up to the fest. We have two tickets to give away.
To enter, leave a comment telling me the festival past or present you'd most like to go to or wish you had been at. Monolith as an answer will disqualify you...yer out!
Please only enter if you can make it to the festival. Don’t forget to enter your email address so I can contact you if you win. This contest will run indefinitely.

Coachella 2008. Not because I have short term memory, but because it sounded as if Prince, Portishead, and Waters put on a hell of a show.
I was furious that I missed Pitchfork last year, mostly because the main reason I wanted to go (Yoko) was the main complaint by most who went. I heard people booed her, which is beyond ridiculous to me, since she is such an influence on many other artists who played the festival that year. So, not unnecessarily the number one past festival that I have wanted to go to, but the most recent and probably most frustrating.

ACL fest 2008, since the band Stars is playing.
julianrgonzalez@sbcglobal.net
Any of the All Tomorrow's Parties fests, because I like experimental music and have been unable to attend any of them so far. The 2007 one with Inca Ore and Jackie-O sounded particularly good. I think that WFMU is webcasting this year's ATP.
