Photo Recap : Spoon + Prizzy Prizzy Please : The Vogue : 041908
Spoon packed the The Vogue this past Friday night. The Vogue is the type of environment a band like Spoon excels in. To me, in truth, that optium Spoon environment is anywhere but a festival. The band, in my opinion, gets lost in the festival setting. A dark, smokey bar or theater is so much more ideal for this band, and they proved it to be true again on this night.
Bloomington band, Prizzy Prizzy Please, hand-picked by Spoon to open the show, was well-received by the sold-out Indianapolis crowd. MOKB staff photographer, Dave Evans, was on hand to give you the sights.

Great pictures, looks like it was a good time. I agree with you on seeing Spoon in a dark, smokey bar.
Nice pics! I wanted to comment that I thought Spoon sound guy used too much delay on the vocals. He has some pedals set up on the sound board and was running the vocals through them and it got to be a bit much since he used it on every song.
But the show was still very good. Prizzy was great and I think made a lot of new fans
