MOKB & Monolith present...The Rosebuds + Gentleman Caller + Lynsey Smith at Radio Radio on 4/30 : New FREE Remix Album
My Old Kentucky Blog loves The Rosebuds. Absolutely loooouuvers them. Beyond being incredible musicians who put on a uber-fun show, they are kind and friendly people. Their 2007 Night Of The Furies was a darker, more dancy departure from their sunshine/cutesy earlier works. We loved it.
To mark the one-year anniversary of the record, Ivan and Kelly are releasing Sweet Beats, Troubled Sleep (Night of the Furies Remixed) in the Merge Records store as a free download!
The album features remixes by Roger O'Donnell (The Cure, The Psychedelic Furs), Mac McCaughan (Portastatic), and MOKB favorite Justin Vernon (Bon Iver). This Bon Iver remix, like everything he does, is badassery incarnate...
The Rosebuds - Get Up, Get Out (Bon Iver Remix)

Like it says, we're hosting The Rosebuds, Gentleman Caller and Lynsey Smith on April 30th at Radio Radio. You can see another flyer for the show here. All this artwork is by our incredibly talented staff poster/shirt designer, Steve St. Pierre.
The show is $10 and you can buy advance tickets at www.brownpapertickets.com
We are thinking about selling this shirt, either at the show or after through MOKB. Would anyone buy one? Email us or comment and let us know if you'd be interested. Probably would run around $20...still kind of TBD, but would be screened on American Apparel tees in all likelihood.

5 Talk back to yo' mama!:
That shirt looks pretty bad-ass, mark me down for one.
I'll take one, depending on which tshirt you go with, please use a good one, not hanes or fruit of the loom or something. i hate those ones.
I'd get that shirt. Please don't make it a black one, though ... world needs more color already. And American Apparel fits better'n anything out there, honestly.
i think it is dark brown. we could go light blue with yellow though, like the flyer?
Although I live too far away to make it to that show, I would definitely be interested purchasing a shirt if it will be on American Apparel. Would you consider shipping them?
