M83 : Saturdays=Youth

I saw M83 live at both Lollapalooza 2006 and ACL Fest 2006, but underwhelmed was the overwhelming feeling I left with both times. Granted, it was 105 degrees at both and bobbing and baking to the droning electrogaze just didn't work for me. I didn't have the patience in that kinda heat. Headphones or dark club room with M83, now that works for me. Working through the daily grind with Saturdays=Youth pulsing and providing the backdrop to your workday...perfection. It's an 80s-influenced homage to the carefree days of youth. Buy it at Mute Records. The Maps remix is a must listen...
