Battle Hymns : Hidden Reservations

The Seattle-based Battle Hymns is the latest project from Cameron Elliot and Jack Peters. Elliot used to tour as The Western States. This new project has a sound that has me imagining Craig Finn (but more Neil Young) from The Hold Steady fronting a grittier, darker Band Of Horses. I know I'm never that good at those type of descriptions, but you'll hear what I'm talking about.

When the Western States recorded their debut, Trouble in the Union, they had David Bazan (Pedro the Lion, Headphones) co-produce it. I've got some good news regarding him coming up this week Indianapolis - so stay tuned!
