Cabin & The Eames Era

I'm heading in-studio today with Louisiana's The Eames Era (previous MOKB post) and Louisville's Cabin. I'll be sharing the sessions with you once complete, so look forward to that!
Sufjan Stevens recently namedropped Cabin as "a band you need to check out", but MOKB was telling you that a while ago too. When Cabin's latest EP I Was Here debuted, it faced stiff competition from new releases from Wilco, Bjork and Rufus Wainwright, but the band held their own and were the #7 Most Added to CMJ for and also made an impressive debut at the #125 spot on CMJ’s Top 200 Chart.
They face a lot of pressure in Louisville, as they draw a lot of comparisions, especially vocally, to My Morning Jacket, but this new EP finds them dispelling some of those comparisons and really hitting their stride. Buy the I Was Here EP at Machine Records for only $7.
