Cary Brothers : Who You Are
Well, MOKB hosting is back online, but all the old files from posts previous to this one are being moved to a new directory, so none are available at the moment. Some will be and some won't be once the issues are resolved...just an FYI.

You probably know Cary Brothers from his song Blue Eyes, which was on the Garden State soundtrack. There is also the fairly common knowledge that he's buddies with Zach Braff. I'm sure all of this has been a blessing to Cary financially, but it probably has built a sizable amount of pressure around him as well. His name is out there, on the verge of his first full-length album release, following up that hit song, with the backing of a major television star. Well, we'll find out next week. Cary will be stopping by to record an MOKB SIRIUS Blog Radio session.
I think Cary is a hell of a nice guy and great performer, so I'm really looking forward to this one. He's also doing a show that night at the Music Mill, opening for Brandi Carlile. The show will be this coming Tuesday, May 15th. Cary's new CD, Who You Are, is out May 29th. The cd is full of solid pop songs. I've seen Cary's live show three different times, and have enjoyed each one. Cary Brothers' MySpace.
