Seymore Saves The World
Lots of Tapes N Tapes and former Tapes N Tapes news in the blogs this week. Tapes N Tapes are back out on tour, with no Indianapolis date again, and this time they have a fancy sponsor. I love MLB 2K6 actually, so I'm happy for them.

Former Tapes N Tapes bassist, Sean Neary, has formed a new project since his departure from the Minnesota band. It's called Seymore Saves The World.
Their self-titled debut came out this April 17th on Royalty, Etc. Sean is joined by bandmates Michael McGregor and Scott Hefte and they actually do have an Indianapolis date. I'll be there and hopefully have them on MOKB SIRIUS Blog Radio as well. Seymore Saves The World's MySpace.

8 Talk back to yo' mama!:
damn minneapolis...they have all the good bands...
Hell yea!! These guys are killer
NICE!!!!
I just saw these guys last week, and they were completely blown off the stage by the next band that performed - Vicious Vicious - featuring the current TNT bassist, Erik Applewick. I would go so far as to say that Seymour Saves the World was pretty boring. Very disappointing.
very little legitamacy to the gentleman above's comment...i saw this same show and both bands were exceptional and had huge crowds...the event was not unlike the finest chocolate...and both bands are deserving of any praise bestowed on them...
Seymore Saves The World one song at a time. This song and every other song on the CD are awsome. Don't miss out on this one. Blessings.
These guys are right on with their witty lyrics, the musical beauty and satire, their love...and they are a blast live. Thanks SSW.
I completely agree with Dee spat. Vicious Vicious does blow compared to Seymore.
