Mezzanine Owls : Slingshot Echoes
Jax has been pounding me over the head with Mezzanine Owls for a while now, and sometimes I ignore Jax because she loves everything. It is one of her most endearing qualities. Anyway, I received the album in the mail last week, so I have been giving it some time and have been enjoying it. Shoegazey, melodious with soaring guitar and an 80s pop feel to the vocals.Mezzanine Owls have been added to our SXSW Hot Freaks! Great post. The Mezzanines are really good and will definitely be a a great addition to the show. They've been killing it live down here for some time and that album is way more polished and mature than any local band around here. Wish I wish was going to SXSW. Lucky bastards.
Im only persistent when its good. Mezzanine Owls = definately good.
