Les Breastfeeders : Les Matins de Grands Soirs

Hard to say if the cool kids will be attracted to a band they can't understand, but Icelandic band Sigur Ros has stayed popular and with Malajube's growing popularity, other French-Canadian exports are getting another look or two. Les Breastfeeders' most recent album came out last August and is titled Les Matins de Grands Soirs. It's guitar heavy garage rock full of shout-heavy choruses. It's high energy, catchy (even if sung in French) and loads of fun. The songs are as strong and boisterous in French as they would be in English, so the language doesn't really matter much to me...it's just good.

I have tickets in will call for a show so i dont know when they let you get those either but mostly with this venue only seating 400, i wondered what it was like and how people would recommend it? or not? lol any info is much appreciated..debiann5@yahoo.com
Saw Les Brestfeeders play to a crowd of maybe twenty at Radio Radio a little over a year ago and they were incredible. if they tour the states again i suggest checking them out. t.c.
Birdy's? The sound is pretty hit and miss but they do get some great shows every now and again. Yo La Tengo, GBV, Strokes, RJD2, The Rapture....
Hey, Dodge-Could you please update your link to my new address--www.berkeleyplace.wordpress.com?
Thanks!
That's gotta be one of the worst names for a band ever.
great find!
Ekko ... I wondered what happened to your blog. Good to know!
Great band, they deserve to get some props. Their first album is quite good too.
The singles on both albums and the ones linked aren't at all their best songs.
