One of my favorite labels, Bella Union, recently signed Fionn Regan. Bella Union is home to The Dears, Mazarin and Midlake amoungst others. World Cup Fever Continued:
I heard Spain looked like world-beaters today! 4 goals against a Ukraine team that isn't that bad. I watched the majority of the Tunisia v. Saudi Arabia match on my lunch hour. Some fantastic goals...Saudi Arabia's first goals since World Cup '98 and Tunisia with an equalizer in the 92nd minute! Wow.Hey, how bad did Ronaldo look yesterday?! What a disgrace. Oh how the mighty have fallen. No way Ronaldo takes over the all-time goals scored in World Cup matches this year...he only needs two to tie the record, but I'll be suprised if he actually sees the pitch for the remainder of the Cup. Oppositely, how amazing is Ronaldhino?! That's no secret though.

Oh,, dodge man thank you, I saw Fionn about two years ago in my hometown with about 6 other people, and I've been trying to find stuff by him since. Hunter's map is an amazing song. And speaking of the world cup, what a win for germany, eh?

I am the only Republican, right leaning, independent music fan I know. I support my local independent record store (Vintage Vinyl, St. Louis, MO) and recognize the flaws of my paradigm and those of the leaders of my party... I just see a few more on the other side of the fence. I will say that I have always been astounded that in a musical asthetic that derives its name from the word independent, there is almost a homogenous quality to its fans: liberal. Seems rather free thinking, don't it?
