The Vines - Vision Valley

Vision Valley, the third release by The Vines, hit the stores this past April. You probably all ready know The Vines are an Australian garage rock band often compared to The Hives and The Strokes. Their second album hardly seemed to meet the hype surrounding their first and Vision Valley seems to have come in just as unheralded. Thoughts?Little known fact: On 19 November 2004 it was revealed that lead vocalist, Craig Nicholls has Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism. The Vines may never undertake a major tour again due to this.

3 Talk back to yo' mama!:
Does that first track sound like the Chipmunks to anyone else?
That guy on the left looks like a young GW Bush having a bad hair day.
I actually quite liked Winning Days - perhaps more than Highly Evolved. The new album is quite average.
If The Vines aren't going to be able to tour anymore, it would nice if they could tap into a similar creative well that The Beatles tapped into when they quit touring. No signs here of that yet though.
