The Kevins - S/T

I checked out The Kevins' self-titled album. It's appropriate for this time of year as the fifteen tracks were recorded over three consecutive Christmas Eves in Wichita, Kansas by the two brothers with help from their older sister. It's very good - romantic, sappy and sentimental - even more perfect for this time of year! There's some nice group harmonizing, which you know I like too.

Every song has a sweet sensitivity, that I imagine gets them laid a lot. At the start of the 4th song, Special Pillows, there is a brief exchange between two women in which one says:

"I heard The Kevins started Valentine's Day." and the second woman replies, "I wouldn't doubt it." Well, me neither. These kids know how to tug at the heartstrings. This song goes so well with the disjointed ramblings of my first post today...it's hilarious, well at least to me, in terms of the first post today, so you should listen to it...
